Nightwing is seeking a Supply Chain Legal Lead to join its Contracts & Supply Chain organization. This individual will report to the Associate Director, Business Systems & Compliance and will be responsible for Supply Chain legal and contractual guidance across multiple Business Units. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Contracts, Supply Chain, and Legal personnel, geographically dispersed across several locations, to develop and provide internal stakeholders with consistent and holistic guidance related to acquisition, contracts/sub-contracts, compliance, and several other topics
Craft correspondence and agreements to maintain adherence to complex contract obligations.
Establish acquisition and subcontracting processes in support of Nightwing contract terms and conditions.
Provide advice to leadership on issues and transactions affecting Nightwing and across Business Units.
Support acquisition personnel with drafting, reviewing and negotiating diverse supplier claims, terms and conditions, and agreements.
Work closely with Supply Chain and Legal personnel on intellectual property (IP) agreements and other licensing, software, and hardware transactions.
Resolve matters involving rights and obligations of suppliers, Nightwing, the U.S Government, and commercial customers.
Execute process improvement initiatives and develop addendums to enhance supply chain legal operations.
Qualifications:
Must have the minimum of 8+ years of experience in an advising, legal or a related position
Expert knowledge of government contracting and FAR requirements
Advanced knowledge of and experience with: Material Contract Briefs, strategic agreements, complex terms and conditions negotiations, Letter Subcontracts and Authorizations to Proceed, non-conforming vendor terms, advanced/milestone payments, novations and assignments
Advanced knowledge of and experience with: computer hardware and software procurements, Free and open Source Software reviews, commercial/non-commercial/COTS software license reviews and negotiations, reseller (including white label) terms and agreement review and negotiations, non-standard software license reviews and negotiations (including service and maintenance agreements)
Highly analytical individual with expertise at managing projects, evaluating contracts, and negotiating terms.
Proven leader capable of positively influencing a broad range of complex legal, regulatory, policy, supply chain and business issues.
Strong working knowledge of public law, government, and commercial supply chain and contracting requirements.
Ability to leverage exceptional interpersonal expertise to communicate at all organizational levels.
Working knowledge of data analysis and forecasting tools and ability to develop actionable insights from data
Interpersonal skills and ability to build and improve trusting relationships
Attention to detail with proven analytical skills
Educational Requirements:
Juris Doctorate/Master’s Degree/Bachelor’s degree in law, supply chain management, logistics, business management or related fields

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
