Robert Half Paralegal in Rockland, Massachusetts

Description We are looking for a diligent Paralegal to join our team in Rockland, Massachusetts. This role will involve a diverse range of responsibilities, including answering phones, managing documents, and preparing client materials. This is a temporary role, ideal for candidates with proficiency in family law and strong skills in Adobe Acrobat, Case Management Software, LexisNexis, Microsoft Excel, among others.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and answer phone calls professionally and promptly

• File and organize legal papers diligently to ensure easy access and retrieval

• Handle mailing responsibilities, ensuring all documents are sent to the correct recipients in a timely manner

• Prepare and gather client documents, ensuring all necessary materials are available when required

• Work on-site with clients to collect necessary documents and information

• Utilize Case Management Software effectively to manage client cases

• Employ skills in LexisNexis for legal research and case preparations

• Use Microsoft Excel for data management and tracking

• Handle billing functions and ensure accurate invoicing

• Manage calendars and schedule appointments and meetings as necessary

• Administer complaints and claims in accordance with legal standards and procedures

• Specialize in Family Law, providing expert advice and support in related cases. Requirements • Possession of a Paralegal certification or equivalent relevant experience

• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Case Management Software and Management Systems

• Experience with LexisNexis for legal research

• Knowledge of Billing Functions in a legal setting

• Ability to prepare legal briefings

• Proficiency in Calendar Management and meeting scheduling

• Experience in Claim Administration and Complaint Handling

• Specialization in Family Law is preferred

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and meet tight deadlines

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Must be legally authorized to work in the country where the job is located.
