Peopleready Skilled Trades is hiring immediately for a material handler/yard person/equipment operator in Rowley MA. The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience in industrial shop environments, a strong ability to identify steel shapes, experienced with operating forklifts (4 ton & 15ton combi-lifts) and/or overhead cranes. Prior experience is required and in this long term, temp to perm role, you have the opportunity to earn depending on experience.

Note : The pay rate for this job is $22 - $25 / hour

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes

• Unload incoming and outgoing deliveries

• Identify and check material to bills of lading and documents

• Move materials to designated spots

• Load conveyors per individual project requirements

Qualifications:

• Experience with identifying steel shapes.

• Using ruler and/or measuring device with whole numbers and fractions.

• Ability to count and track multiple piece orders.

• Experienced heavy fork lift and overhead crane operation

• Good communication skills

• Adaptable to work in all weather conditions

• Reliable transportation
