Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Physical Intervention Prevention Coordinator in Rutland, Massachusetts

Description

This position is located on the main campus of Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Rutland, MA. This critical position ensures implementation of the written restraint prevention and behavior support policy and procedures. The qualified candidate will monitor, extract and review restraint related data to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements as well as conduct restraint reviews. Compliance is ensured utilizing data and video to develop restraint reduction strategies.

Qualifications

MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND A 2 WEEK ORIENTATION FROM 9AM TO 5PM TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION .

  • High School diploma; Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field preferred.

  • Data collection and analysis experience needed. Administrative skills demonstrating the ability to work with the public, referring agencies and professionals.

  • Must be flexible, creative and have excellent written/verbal communication skills.

  • Must become a Safe and Positive Approaches Trainer within 6 months of hire.

  • Proficiency with Windows, MS Word & Excel required. Some knowledge of graphics software preferred.

  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Prior experience working in a residential setting is a plus.

  • Must be 21 years of age.

  • Valid license.
