Opportunity Overview
North Shore Community Health (NSCH) is an industry leader in exceptional community healthcare delivery.
We seek a master’s level licensed clinician to provide behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and families in Salem primary, middle and high schools. This is a full-time school-year position. This individual will report to the Director of School-Based Health.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide crisis intervention, intake, diagnostic assessment, treatment planning to patients, and outpatient psychotherapy services (individual, family, group).
Consult primary care and school staff about their patient's behavioral health needs and treatment goals.
Network/collaborate with community leaders, health care providers, community-based organizations, and others who contribute to the ongoing assessment of the health needs of this group of patients.
Conduct community outreach to provide information/make referrals to/coordinate services, and identify community resources that support patients.
Shares best practices and expertise with both school and NSCH staff.
Works in collaboration and under the direction of the school-based site manager (if applicable).
Meet documentation standards in a timely fashion using the electronic health record for each patient contact.
Attends in-service training for ongoing licensure requirements and complies with all policies for compliance and documentation.
Participate in supervision, team and staff meetings, committees, and task forces as required.
Enjoys and works effectively in a culture of collaboration, ongoing change, and commitment to racial equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Perform additional duties to fulfill NSCH's mission as assigned.
Requirements
Current MA LICSW or Psy.D license required.
School-based health experience preferred.
Demonstrated strong communication skills with individuals and/or groups.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and prioritization skills.
Electronic Health Records experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
Self-motivated and self-directed to work within a team and work independently
Maintain CEUs as required by the state.
Bilingual Spanish/Portuguese preferred.
Completion of NSCH required Compliance Training before the deadline.
As a health center, NSCH ensures that all employees comply with the annual requirements for vaccinations and health screenings. All employees must be vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of their employment unless they have been granted a religious or medical exception.
