Job Title: Clean Water Treatment Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Clean Water Treatment Operator to cover the Cape Cod territory, primarily between Eastham and Wellfleet. The primary responsibility of the Operator is to operate and maintain assigned facilities and actively support the Operations Supervisor. You will be on call one week out of the month and will be provided with a company van to drive from site to site. Pay rate will range from $22 - $30 an hour depending on experience. Experience working with water utilities is a must. You will be on call one week each month and you will be able to drive company vans from site to site.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain assigned water treatment facilities.

• Actively support the Operations Supervisor.

• Manage, operate, and maintain clean water facilities.

• Speak with clients in a professional manner.

Essential Skills

• Wastewater treatment experience

• Water treatment experience

• General labor skills

• Mechanical skills

• USS License preferred

• T1/D1 License preferred

• Utility experience (e.g., utility laborer)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with operations maintenance

• Experience as a laborer or operator

• Good personality to interact with clients

• Experience in any utility field involving water (e.g., pipefitting)

The work environment involves clean water treatment, with duties primarily conducted outside and some inside facilities. You will be provided with a company van for site visits.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sandwich, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr.
