Assist individuals to live their best life in a home environment and out in the community. Eligible for weekend differential, higher rate of pay for active MAP certification, and paid training for the skills you may not have. This shift is slated for 9am-3pm Saturday and Sunday and 3pm-11pm Monday. At Kennedy-Donovan Center (KDC), everything that we do is tied to our mission. Responsibilities: Demonstrate commitment and enthusiasm in supporting individuals in creative and innovative ways. Provide direct care teaching and modeling to individuals and promote individual choice and self-expression based upon quality service principles. Provide transportation as needed in response to individual schedules and desired activities. Ensure the legal, civil, and human rights of individuals are supported. Maintain compliance with all Kennedy-Donovan Center policies and procedures, DDS regulations, requirements, confidentiality and quality service standards. Perform other job-related responsibilities as assigned. Physical Requirements: Moderate travel required. Operation of specialized and adaptive equipment. Frequent movement within home and community setting included but not limited to bending, sitting, lifting and carrying. Qualifications Education Required High School or better. Experience Required Experience with individuals with special needs. Valid Driver's license. Able to meet required certification for First Aid, CPR and Medication Administration.
