Town of Sandwich Administrative Offices Emergency Comm Center Supervisor in Sandwich, Massachusetts

The Town of Sandwich has an opening for a 40 hour per week Emergency Communications Center Supervisor. Work hours will require flexibility including availability during evening, weekend, holiday and emergent events. Position reports to the Deputy Police Chief and will be provide highly responsible, administrative and supervisory duties involving the oversight and operation of the Sandwich Emergency Communications Center including personnel, equipment, training, communications systems and budget. Work involves effectively and efficiently organizing, supervising, operating and managing the emergency communications function. Position also will perform all functions of an Emergency Telecommunicator. Responsible for communications and logistics as necessary and as directed by the Emergency Management Director during times when the Emergency Management Team is enacted.
