Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional candidates will be interested in joining this growing company's dynamic team. Responsibilities include entering, posting and reconciling batches, researching and resolving customer A/R issues, preparing aging reports, placing billing and collection calls, maintaining cash receipts journal, and updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L. Major responsibilities

• Process payments and assemble segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP

• Supply shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stake holders with information as requested

• Handle a range of basic accounting tasks using standard procedures

• Communicate with clients to settle payment issues and help create a payment plan

• Reconcile bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in various ledgers

• Verify documents and codes

• Support, relate, and strengthen the mission, values and culture of the organization

  Requirements - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field

• Proven analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy

• Proven knowledge of Aging Accounts

• QuickBooks experience

• Expertise in Cash Collections

• Well-founded grasp of Aging Reports

• Deep understanding of Billing Collection

• Accounts Receivable (AR) experience desired

• Commercial collections experience preferred

• Relevant experience in accounts receivable

• ERP system experience

• Great attention to detail
