Our client in Shrewsbury, MA is seeking Material Handlers to join their team. The ideal candidate will have Material Handler experience and the following skills: teamwork, problem solving, critical thinking, computer skills and active listening skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Shrewsbury, MA

Schedule: 1st Shift - Monday to Friday, 7am-3:30pm

Pay rate: $19 an hour

What’s the Job?

• Manually or by fork truck move materials, supplies, and finished goods to designated places in the facility or onto trucks.

• Load, unload and move materials at plant, yard, or other work site.

• Responsible for accurate cycle count.

• Load raw materials or finished products on skids or hand trucks.

• Stack skids or pallets in designated areas. Clean up and dispose of scrap bracing and cardboard and build wooden crates for shipping products.

What’s Needed?

• Material Handler experience is required.

• Computer skills is required, because the position involves processing orders, inventory control and processing incoming and outgoing shipments.

• Requires ability to select, count receive, issue and package materials, parts and products and move them to designated areas, ensuring document and shipment accuracy.

• Requires ability to operate a forklift truck and pass written and practical certification exam.
