Our client in Shrewsbury, MA is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join their team. The ideal candidate will have teamwork, ethics, problem solving, critical thinking, and active listening skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Location: Shrewsbury, MA

Pay Rate: $20/hr.

What’s the Job?

• Responsible for a variety of mechanical, electro-mechanical, and procedural tasks.

• Read work orders and verify that correct parts were selected according to "picklist" and note special instructions.

• Uses a variety of hand and power tools.

• Responsible for the quality of products.

What’s Needed?

• Typically has experience in other assembly position to gain product knowledge.

• 0-1+ years of actual on-the-job experience

• Experience using hand and power tools

• Be able to read and interpret assembly drawings

• May use a fork truck or electric/manual pallet jack to move material within the assembly area

• Must comply with all applicable federal, state and organizational Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) requirements.
