The Product Engineer II for Cytiva is responsible for sustainment and lifecycle management of our Hardware product portfolio through its lifecycle. The Product Engineer II is also responsible for electrical product design, Verification & Validation, and assessing risks of the manufacturing process for products. The role requires building relationships across functions and maintaining open communication across departments.

This position is part of the Product Engineering Equipment team located in Shrewsbury, MA and will be hybrid. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

  • Plan and execute engineering changes to support the products through their lifecycle, including technical review and creating drawings and technical documentation.

  • Prepare detailed validation protocols, perform on-site verification testing and write the validation summary reports.

  • Lead investigations to resolve customer complaints and product quality issues.

  • Part of cross functional teams to support projects at global level and lead on local level, and coordinate between PE, R&D, Operations and Quality teams.

  • Focus on continuous improvement of products and processes.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

  • 2-5 years relevant professional experience in electrical design and development.

  • Experience with performing verification and validation testing.

  • Experience with CE and UL regulatory requirements.

  • Experience with sustaining engineering activities for newly launched and/or legacy products.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience with component selection based on requirements.

  • Experience supporting customer inquiries/requests and performing root cause investigations.
