Description We are in search of a Sr. Software Engineer to join our team in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. This role will primarily involve working independently to understand and improve our existing systems, providing necessary architectural changes, and enhancing functionality. The successful candidate will also provide support and work in an Agile/ITIL SDLC environment. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Independently analyze, understand, and improve existing systems

• Propose and implement necessary architectural changes and improvements

• Enhance system functionality to meet business needs

• Provide support to ensure systems are functioning optimally

• Work in an Agile/ITIL SDLC environment, conducting inspections, and post-implementation reviews as needed

• Create detailed technical designs documents, code, and testing methodologies

• Lead in the design, development, implementation, integration, production support, and continuous enhancement of applications

• Ensure the reliability and stability of information repositories

• Assist in technical audits and implement audit recommendations

• Utilize skills in Database, EO/IR systems, GitHub, Hibernate ORM, AB Testing, API Development, ASP.NET, Design, Framework, JavaScript, HTML5, Azure DevOps. Requirements • Proficient in Database management and optimization

• Experience with EO/IR systems

• Proficiency in using GitHub for version control

• Extensive knowledge and experience with Hibernate ORM

• Familiarity with AB Testing methodologies and implementation

• Proficient in API Development

• Experience with ASP.NET

• Strong Design skills with attention to user experience

• Understanding of various software Frameworks

• Proficiency in JavaScript programming language

• Familiarity with HTML5 for web development
