Dartmouth Public Schools Facilities/Maintenance in South Dartmouth, Massachusetts
Qualifications: 1. High School Diploma. Master or Journeymen\'s License and/or Certificate in Maintenance related area preferred. 2. Three (3) years minimum work experience preferred. 3. Demonstrated ability in areas of repairs and renovations to facilities, landscaping of grounds and snow plowing. 4. Ability to work cooperatively and safely in a school environment with all the staff and students in our school system. Install and maintain plumbing and HVAC systems and components. 3. Install and maintain mechanical systems and components. 4. Install and maintain boiler system controls and components. 5. Maintain all school system grounds. 6. Maintain all interior and exterior structures of all school facilities. 7. Heavy lifting with and without machines and/or equipment above 100 lbs. 8. Operation of heavy equipment and power equipment related to the maintenance field. 9. Must be able to climb ladders to roofs and work on roof above thirty feet. Other Responsibilities: 1. Snow removal with and without machinery. 2. General vehicle repairs and maintenance. 3. Processing work orders as directed by the Facilities Manager. 4. Performs such other reasonable professional tasks or duties as may be required by the Facilities Manager. Reports to: Facilities Manager Job Goal: To facilitate the maximum use of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, woodworking, construction, groundskeeping and general maintenance skills in the schools through the servicing of all facilities and grounds of the Dartmouth Public Schools. Terms of Employment: Full-time position- full year Salary and benefits as agreed upon in the contract between the Dartmouth School Committee and the Dartmouth Association of Facilities Workers
