Paid Holidays Robust electronic kiosks for charting system Verizon Discount Plans BJs Discount Plans Job Summary: Assist, and/or provide for activities of resident\'s daily living, including but not limited to: assisting with meals, feeding residents, providing for residents\' personal hygiene; assisting with and/or giving complete or partial tub and shower baths, back rubs, shampoos, and shaves; making beds; providing oral hygiene, including care of dentures; providing care of hair and providing morning and evening care. Take and/or report temperature, pulse and respirations; make unoccupied beds; distribute drinking water, distribute bedpans and urinals, measure and record intake and output; empty drainage bags, weigh patients as directed. Qualifications: EDUCATION: A high school education or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory. Must be able to be trained utilizing a computer kiosk. Ability to follow written and oral instructions. TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Helping hands assistants, on-the-job training will be provided. Assistants must be able to work an established schedule in order to receive on the job clinical CNA training. This is a requirement that would qualify applicants to proceed to take the Department of Public health established nurses aide certification test. Applicants must pass this test to become a certified nursing assistant according to regulatory established guidelines with 4 months of from completion of CNA certfication course. Must participate annually in 12 hours of in-service training to maintain certification.
