S.E. Mass Educational Collaborative Registered Nurse in South Dartmouth, Massachusetts
Job Description; SMEC is seeking a strong and diverse pool of applicants for the position of RN for the 2024-2025 school year. The RN is responsible for the school health services for all enrolled students and administration of all health related activities. Work includes providing nursing care as well as advisement to staff on medical issues/changes, and ongoing parent/guardian contact. Experience in a pediatric setting and/or working with children with significant special needs preferred. BSN and/or DESE licensure preferred. This is a School Year Position (184 days) plus a 5 week part-time summer program. Licensed Registered Nurse in Massachusetts required. Benefits Eligible (Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurances, 457b/403b). This position qualifies for either the Massachusetts State Employees? Retirement System (MSERS) or the Massachusetts Teachers? Retirement System (MTRS), depending upon licensure. Local travel between programs is required to support students at different school buildings.
