Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists Client Care Associate in South Dennis, Massachusetts

The Client Care Associate is the first & last impression of Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists, which impacts the client?s overall experience. The CCA is an invaluable team member that communicates with the clients, works with the medical staff to facilitate emergency & specialty appointments, provides information to the referring veterinary community, & handles financial transactions. This position is client-focused & does not involve direct interactions with pets. Responsibilities & Functions Greet & check in clients for emergency & specialty appointments in a polite, professional, & timely manner. Schedule & confirm appointments Perform record keeping, such as scanning & documentation in the electronic medical records (EMR) Provide estimates & invoices for payment Take deposits & process payments at checkout Send medical records to referring veterinarians Direct client calls to the appropriate department in a polite, professional, & timely manner. Maintain a clean lobby & front desk area. Respond to clients with compassion & empathy in stressful & emotional situations. Required Qualifications More than one year experience in the veterinary hospital as a technician, liaison, or CCA This position may be open to the right person who expresses a genuine desire & is eager to learn Sufficient computer experience (Word, Excel) & the ability to learn various veterinary software programs Ample experience & knowledge of various equipment, including fax & copy machines, credit card & check terminals, & postage meters Basic math skills to determine proper deposits & process payments Ability to balance & prioritize multiple tasks appropriately Confidence in themselves, in their abilities, & their team Excellent clear communication skills Must be professional, pleasant, & engaged Must be attentive & demonstrate a high level of respect to referring veterinarians, clients, & co-workers Salary, Schedule, & Benefits Include (but are not limited to) The salary range for this position is \$18 to \$20 hourly, commensurate with experience Schedules swings, evenings, weekends, & a holiday shift rotation. The initial training schedule may require time in the Buzzards Bay location.
