Adecco US, Inc. Quality Technician in South Grafton, Massachusetts
Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in Grafton, MA to bring on a Quality Technician. This is a 1st shift position with plenty of overtime available.
Compensation/Hours:
· Pay: $25-$27 per hour
· Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday through Thursday
· Overtime Available on Fridays: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Overview: The Quality Technician is responsible for establishing and managing corporate quality standards to ensure compliance and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
· Quality Standards Management: Oversee and implement quality control processes using various test equipment, including micrometers, calipers, flame tests, and hi-pot testing. Ensure all testing procedures meet industry standards and best practices.
· Compliance Oversight: Act as the primary contact for compliance with multiple regulatory standards, including Certificate of Compliance (C of C’s), RoHS, REACH, UL, and CSA. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and facilitate audits and assessments.
· Reporting & Documentation: Design and generate customer-specific test reports that accurately reflect testing results. Update and maintain the Corporate Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure all documentation is current and accessible. Prepare and review Technical Data Sheets (TDS) to ensure clarity and compliance.
· Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Engineering teams on compound trials to evaluate and improve product quality. Participate in cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Manage special programs, including sustainability initiatives like Cradle to Cradle.
· Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to quality review meetings and quality improvement initiatives. Identify areas for process enhancement and propose solutions to enhance overall product quality and operational efficiency.
Education & Experience:
· Technical degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Skills:
· Language: Strong ability to interpret technical documents and respond to inquiries.
· Math: Proficient in advanced math concepts and unit conversions.
· Computer: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
Physical Demands:
· Occasional movement in the office and constant use of office equipment. Reasonable accommodations may be made.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
