Loomis Village Night Security Manager in South Hadley, Massachusetts

Night Security Manager South Hadley, MA Minor building maintenance is an essential requirement of this position. Sunday 8pm to 8am Summary Description: The Night Security Manager is responsible for creating and fostering a safe environment which includes responding to a wide variety of requests in a timely and professional manner. The overnight position is expected to maintain a secure building by monitoring and patrolling internal and external activity, act as first responder in medical emergencies and ensure that minor building maintenance is handled quickly and efficiently to eliminate facilities emergencies. SEE THE LOOMIS COMMUNITIES WEBSITE FOR LIST OF ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Qualifications Preferred Education High School Diploma or GED Preferred Experience 1-3 years of security experience 1-3 years of unskilled maintenance experience: Must have experience in plumbing, carpentry, operating snow removal equipment and light electrical License(s) (Required/Preferred) CPR Certification - Must be certified and capable of performing CPR, provide First Aid and operate an AED as needed. Skills/Competencies Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Must be able to manage stressful situations and maintain their own composure. Must be able to communicate instructions in a clear and concise manner. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with management and staff. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Must have high ethical standards and high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate and interact with clients and customers. Must be available to work all shifts to address the needs of the site 24 ? 7. Must meet performance standards including attendance and punctuality. Ability to report to work regularly and promptly. Ability to work beyond normal hours when necessary. Excellent customer service skills and effective phone communication skills.
