Today, EIS Wire and Cable Company operates a modern 125,000 sq. ft. facility based in Western Massachusetts and specializes in manufacturing a wide range of custom design and standard construction products-from single conductor hook-up wire to complex multi conductor composite cables. Summary/Objective: The Sales Account Manager (SAM) will be responsible for being the main interface between EIS and its customers. They will manage the day to day needs of the accounts assigned to them and provide rapid, accurate responses to requests from the customer. The SAM will also be responsible for working with the EIS Manufacturers Reps. assigned to the territory that the accounts preside in, providing them with up-to-date details of all activities at the individual accounts. The SAM will also be responsible for any additional duties as assigned by management. Territory Responsibilities: The SAM will provide coverage for all of the existing customers, as well as, any new customers within the territory assigned to them. To include being crossed trained to cover territories they are not responsible for, so as to provide adequate coverage when department staff is shorthanded. Essential Functions: Respond to customer requests (email, phone, and fax). Prepare quotations for customer RFQ\'s. To include review of RFQ feasibility and submittal to engineering if within our capabilities, following established pricing guidelines and seeking guidance from management when size of opportunity exceeds maximum dollar guidelines. Follow up on all outstanding quotes until final disposition is made with the customer. MFG Rep. shall also be part of this process to insure maximum effort towards successful award of order. Order entry and perform a peer review for accuracy. Provide order acknowledgement and anticipate ship date to customer. Process all customer expedite requests, change order notices, and RM\'s. Provide bi-weekly price sheet updates to customers that are supported by a price sheet. Communicate new product developments and agency approvals to prospective customers, existing customers and MFG Reps alike. Achieve revenue & profit objectives as set forth by management. Provide customers with timely and accurate responses as set forth by management. Demonstrate initiative to take on additional responsibility. Demonstrate ability to improve performance results in their area of responsibility. Demonstrate capacity to make reasonable decisions. Accountable for achieving all aspects of job requirements. Complete required training and development projects within the assigned time frame. Achieve all corporate objectives and metrics as determined by senior management. Additional Information: This position is located in an office environment and may require the use of standard office equipment such as computer, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday with occasional evening and weekend work as job duties demand. There is no travel required. SAM is a salary position which is paid bi-weekly. Salary will be dependent on knowledge and experience. Education and Experience A minimum of an Associates Degree is preferred. Minimum of three years\' experience in account management/inside sales, preferably in wire and cable manufacturing or distribution. Strong track record in customer support/satisfaction and sales growth at the account level. Experience working with MFG reps in the field and driving territory sales/profit objectives as a team effort.
