Medicaid Claims Job Type - Temporary Pay Rate - \$19.00 - \$22.00 / Hourly Description We are offering an opportunity for a Medicaid Claims specialist in Southampton, Massachusetts. This role is within the healthcare industry and involves a comprehensive understanding of medical billing and insurance claims, specifically in relation to Medicaid. This is a long-term contract role, where you\'ll be stationed in a dynamic workplace environment. Responsibilities: Evaluate and process Medicaid claims with accuracy and efficiency. Utilize your understanding of medical terminology to enhance the processing of claims. Regularly update and maintain customer credit records. Handle inquiries related to Medicaid billing and provide resolution to any issues. Accurately input data and manage numeric data entries. Ensure the correct interpretation and application of EOB - Explanation of Benefits in all tasks. Leverage your skills in commercial insurance for effective claim processing. Regularly monitor customer accounts and take necessary action based on account status. Utilize your proficiency in typing data entry to manage customer records and process claims. Make use of your knowledge in Medicare billing and claims to enhance service delivery. Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medicaid Claims or similar role Knowledge of Basic Medical Terminology Familiarity with Commercial Insurance Experience in Medical Billing Understanding of EOB - Explanation of Benefits Proficiency in Data Entry Ability to work with Numeric Data Entry Typing and Data Entry skills Experience in handling Insurance Claims Knowledge of Medicaid procedures and regulations Experience in Medicaid Billing Familiarity with Medicaid Claim processing Experience in Medicare Billing Knowledge of Medicare Claim processing
