The Senior Warehouse and Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning and warehouse teams to ensure effective and efficient development/execution of DMS strategy for Cytiva sites in MA.

This position is part of the Materials team located in Southborough, MA and will be on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

  • Manage warehouse and planning teams - including material processes, flow and systems.

  • Manage the warehouse team and the overall daily operations of the warehouse. Responsible for streamline processes to make sure the warehouse operates effectively and efficiently.

  • Manage the planning team and production scheduling / production control processes through effective implementation of the Level Load – Heijunka – aligned with site KPIs (on-time delivery, inventory, liquidation, production attainment)

  • Aware of and comply with EHS guidelines, actively participate in EHS activities and encourage the Materials and Warehouse team to do the same.

  • Ensure operational excellence in order promising, master scheduling, material delivery, and input/output control to achieve exceptional performance to customer commitments.

  • Ensuring master data alignment in Oracle/VCP to provide an accurate long term production plan, procurement processes and replenishment method, also supporting FIFO and cycle counting program at the warehouse.

  • Champion the use of DBS/DMS to support the continuous improvement goals and daily operational objectives and developing the team.

  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to team members to improve overall team performance and provide growth and development opportunities. Responsible for performance management and engagement of team members.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain or other related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 6+ years of experience on production planning, materials mgmt. OR supply chain operations

  • 4+ years of leadership experience, preferred large teams.

  • Project management, problem-solving and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail is required.

  • Strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, oral and written, for different levels of the organization is required.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience using ERP/MRP in production planning and warehouse activities is preferred. Oracle is preferred.

  • APICS CPIM or CPM certification preferred but not required
