Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Southborough, Massachusetts. This position is primarily situated within the finance industry and will involve a variety of accounting tasks, including audit assistance and month-end close operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the upcoming audit

• Participate in the month-end closing process

• Work with the general ledger and make necessary journal entries

• Conduct account reconciliations as needed

• Use Odoo system for managing financial tasks

• Proficient in using Excel, specifically v-lookups, for financial data management

• Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions

• Be prepared for potential changes in the company's ownership status and the impact it may have on the accounting process

• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including invoice verification and payment processing

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR), including billing, collections, and revenue recognition

• Demonstrable expertise in performing Bank Reconciliations to ensure financial data accuracy

• Familiarity with General Ledger operations, including maintaining and updating financial records

• Ability to prepare and post Journal Entries, ensuring accurate financial statements

• Experience with Month End Close processes, including preparation of financial reports

• Proficiency in using NetSuite for financial management and reporting

• Familiarity with Oracle financial software for accounting operations

• Experience with QuickBooks for managing and processing financial transactions

• Knowledge of SAP for integrated business operations and financial management

• Experience in Audit procedures, including planning, execution, and reporting.
