Kennedy-Donovan Center Interpreter (Arabic/English - IN PERSON) in Southbridge, Massachusetts

About the Role:
The Interpreter assists Early Intervention Specialists by providing written and verbal interpretation via in-person services. This is an as needed role for approximately 5-10 hours per week. T he candidate must be fluent in Arabic and English and available to work in person.
In person position - REMOTE is NOT available
In this role, you’ll get to:
Provide translating/interpreting services for Early Intervention Specialists and families during remote access, home visits, center-based visits, and group meetings when necessary
Translate written materials such as parent letters, newsletters, narrative reports, IFSPs, and notes as needed
Assist Early Intervention Specialists during home visits when necessary
Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a team approach to service provision
Maintain compliance with all Kennedy Donovan Center policies and procedures/DPH regulations and requirements
We are looking for people who have:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bilingual in English and Arabic required
Ability to translate written materials in the pursuit of service delivery (via text or email)
Ability to meet required competency level in Microsoft Office Software
