PC Technician (Sign On Bonus) Job Description This PC Technician position is in WCA?s Southwick production facility working in the Inspection and Repair department. The position offers a wide range of responsibilities including inspecting, repairs, assembling, and configuring of electronic devices prior to customer deployment. Various devices require great attention to detail and the ability to follow work instructions. Responsibilities Inspect, repair, and clean legacy equipment returned from customer locations Point of sale equipment, PCs, laptops, servers, racks, switches, firewalls, printers, scanners, wireless devices, and more Follow documented configuration processes to ensure accuracy and consistency Prepare, package, and ship equipment for optimal out of box customer experience Assemble electronic devices and technology equipment using various tools Image and configure devices prior to deployment to customer locations Work efficiently to meet production schedules and performance targets Qualifications Team players with positive attitudes Technical knowledge and training in computer hardware & operating systems preferred Motivated individuals that thrive in a fast-paced production environment Great attention to detail and pride in accuracy Computer skills of 30 WPM minimum (tested) Must be able to pass a background check (signed release needed) Lifting requirement of 40+ lbs Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship Salary & Benefits WCA offers competitive pay rates based on experience and ability. Full time positions include health insurance, dental insurance, paid vacation and personal time, holiday pay, 401K with company match, and long-term disability. Location: Southwick, MA (WCA Headquarters) Hours: Monday- Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, additional hours as required to complete tasks.
