Center for Human Development Manager of Compliance and Risk in Springfied, Massachusetts

Job Description The Manager of Compliance and Risk assumes the principal role in the oversight of compliance risk management. Develops a data driven Risk Management Plan establishing a framework to identify, assess, manage and mitigate compliance risk within the organization's risk appetite. Toward this end s/he works in collaboration with the Organizational Excellence team, program staff and members of Information Technology/Applications and Data Systems department to ensure that systems are in place to capture, review, analyze and report on legal, regulatory, licensing and other identified areas of risk. Job functions: This person monitors the execution of the Risk Management Plan (RMP) including identification of standard metrics, audits, data analytics and reporting to ensure that identified compliance risks within CHD are effectively controlled, consistent with all policies and processes. established within the risk governance framework Monitors metrics, identifies trends and supports the overall compliance function when risk issues are identified that could lead to a liability or other such risks for the organization. Manages the review all events reported through incident reporting mechanisms in force within CHD and its contractors and assists in conducting investigations for serious and sentinel events Supervises and mentors the Compliance Data Analyst in his/her responsibilities to work across functional areas to collect, analyze and present compliance, quality and risk data for purposes of organization-wide program evaluation, management/decision-making, performance improvement, and regulatory compliance. Qualifications : Progressive experience in healthcare corporate compliance. Experience supervising and providing education and mentor-ship to staff Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and government regulations. Strong background in statistical techniques and analysis. Proficiency of Office 365 application suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook. Experience with relational databases and formula building. Detail oriented with exceptional follow-up and organizational skills. Must be able to manage and prioritize competing demands. Requirements: Bachelor?s degree in Health Science, Public Health/Policy, Business, or related field from four-year College or university and 2 years of experience in compliance and risk related areas.
