Description We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. Located in Springfield, Massachusetts, this role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. The job function revolves around the finance industry, where you will be primarily tasked with maintaining customer records, processing customer applications, and resolving queries.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently processing customer credit applications

• Keeping customer credit records up-to-date and accurate

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking the necessary actions

• Generating and issuing invoices to customers in a timely manner

• Keeping track of incoming payments and posting them to the appropriate accounts

• Reconciling the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted

• Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues related to invoicing and payments

• Contacting customers regarding overdue payments and reconciling discrepancies as needed

• Preparing and maintaining various reports related to accounts receivable status

• Updating and maintaining customer data, including contact information and credit terms. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary

• Must be experienced in the handling of Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Billing procedures and practices

• Skills in Cash Applications are required

• Knowledge of Cash Collections is essential

• Expertise in Commercial Collections is a must

• Competency in Microsoft Excel is needed

• Proficiency in using Oracle software is required

• Experience with QuickBooks is necessary

• Familiarity with SAP is a must
