Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO) Company: Rozki Rides Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Job Overview: The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Rozki Rides, ensuring efficient service delivery, student and driver safety, and compliance with regulations. The COO will lead a team that manages logistics, fleet operations, driver performance, customer service, and strategic planning to ensure the company?s growth and sustainability. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the COO will collaborate with the CEO and other executives to drive operational excellence, optimize resources, and develop long-term strategies to expand the company\'s market presence. Key Responsibilities: ? Operational Leadership: - Lead and manage daily operations, ensuring timely, safe, and reliable transportation services. - Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency and safety. - Oversee fleet management, ensuring vehicles are maintained and meet safety and regulatory standards. - Manage route optimization and scheduling to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations. ? Safety & Compliance: - Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations, including driver qualifications and vehicle standards. - Develop safety protocols and training programs for drivers and operations staff. - Monitor safety records and implement measures to reduce accidents, incidents, and safety risks. ? Financial & Budgetary Oversight: - Develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring cost-effective operations. - Analyze operational costs and implement strategies for cost savings and efficiency improvements. - Work closely with the finance department to ensure alignment with the company?s financial goals. ? Team Management: - Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, including fleet managers, dispatchers, and drivers. - Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics for operations staff. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement, customer service, and safety across the organization. ? Strategic Planning: - Collaborate with the CEO to develop and execute short-term and long-term operational strategies that align with the company\'s goals. - Drive initiatives related to technology integration, such as route optimization and management, new mobile applications, etc. within an appropriate budget and timeframe. - Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and expansion into new markets. ? Customer Relations: - Work with school districts, parents, and community stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. - Resolve operational issues and ensure prompt responses to service inquiries and complaints. - Continuously assess customer feedback and adjust operations to improve service quality. Qualifications: - Bachelor?s degree in business administration, operations, or a related field (MBA preferred). - Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, with 2+ years in a leadership role. - Proven track record of successfully managing teams, operations, and complex logistics. - Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and cost controls. - Experience with operational technologies and a data-driven approach to decision-making. - Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across internal departments and with external vendors. - Knowledge of transportation regulations, fleet management, and safety compliance is a plus. - Ability to work in the U.S. - Fluency in Spanish is Prefrre but not required.
