Child and Family Clinician-CWWV-Bilingual Department: Parent & Youth Services Reports to: Clinical Director Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, Day Time with evening hours to accommodate program needs Location: Springfield office FLSA Status: Exempt Salary: \$55,000 annually The YWCA of Western MA is dedicated to eliminating racism and empowering survivors. The YW provides a safe place for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Our programs and services include crisis shelter and transitional housing for survivors and their families, counseling, SAFEPLAN court advocacy, community education, supervised visitation, and vocational training for youth. The YWCA provides services at several sites, including Holyoke, Northampton, Westfield, and our primary Springfield campus. Coordinate efforts across teams, programs, and partner organizations. Maintain professional behavior and strict confidentiality. Position Purpose The Child and Family Clinician is responsible for providing therapeutic services to children and families impacted by domestic, sexual violence, and other exposed trauma and for engaging in outreach and community education regarding issues related to domestic violence. Essential Responsibilities Provide individual and group therapy, case management, and parent sessions to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault and other trauma exposures. On a weekly basis, conduct 17-20 individual therapy sessions, 1 - 2 groups, case management sessions, and parent sessions. Complete program intakes and assessments and all other necessary documentation. Complete safety planning with clients, updating on an ongoing basis. Complete and update individual support plans as needed. Enter data into client data system(s) in 24 hours, ensuring that documentation is clear and accurate. Complete monthly and quarterly reports in a timely manner. Work collaboratively with community agencies, other YW programs, and other social services providers. Provide support and consultation to interns and volunteers, as needed. Provide outreach and community education services, as requested. Respond to all mandated reporting and mental health concerns in a 24 to 48 hours. Attend individual and group supervision meetings and maintain regular communication with the supervisor. Participate in staff meetings. Perform other duties, as assigned. Qualifications Masters in Social Work or Counseling (license attainment supported) required; Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred; Experience providing therapeutic services to adults and children who have experienced or witnessed trauma; Experience working with survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault; Experience facilitating groups; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to work on a flexible schedule to meet program needs, including some evening hours; Must be able to be covered by the agency\'s insurance policy Access to reliable transportation and valid driver\'s license required.
