Baystate Health Clinical Education Coordinator Cardiac Unit in Springfield, Massachusetts

Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’s premier healthcare provider, and home to Baystate Medical Center (BMC), a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence seeks a Cardiac Inpatient Clinical Nurse Education Coordinator to join our team!

The Clinical Education Coordinator is an RN with a talent for teaching and engaging with staff to advance staff knowledge and proficiency in clinical practice. This position will be assigned to M7 the Cardiac Heart Failure Unit. The Clinical Education Coordinator supports the implementation of Nursing care delivery to meet practice and compliance standards. The strategic goals of the organization are a guide for the Clinical Education Coordinator’s priorities and goals. Collaborates with inter-professional teams, leaders, stakeholders and others to accomplish positive clinical and educational outcomes.

SCHEDULE:

  • Full-Time

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, must have one earned degree in Nursing.

  • RN Massachusetts (required).

  • AHA BLS, ACLS required.

  • Two years of experience in a professional nursing practice.

  • Continuing professional development or graduate courses in nursing education.

  • Experience teaching/precepting individuals or groups of students or staff; experience as a charge nurse.
