Hotel & Property Engineer - Full Time - MGM Springfield The SHOW comes alive at MGM Resorts International. THE JOB: As a Hotel & Property Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment and assisting in the daily operations and activities which they have been assigned and provide administrative and technical support as directed by department management. You will also play a vital role in our mission to own the guest?s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us. THE DAY-TO-DAY: Maintain and repair equipment related to the successful operation of boilers, compressors, generators and all equipment that is driven by steam, electricity, gas, air, diesel, water or any other power developing energy which has to do with or is related to the operation of all mechanical equipment Troubleshoots and responds to issues relating to mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems on ride systems and auxiliary equipment Walk daily routes and perform preventative repairs as needed THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Works well in a team environment Can handle multiple tasks at one time Has previous experience in HVAC and/or electrical Working knowledge of diagnostic tools such as Amp Meters, Voltmeters, compound gauges, etc. Adapts well to changing situations and can efficiently handle a fast-paced work environment THE PAY, PERKS & BENEFITS: Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentally Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts as well as discounts with company partners on things like travel, electronics, online shopping, and more.
