Responsibilities:

  • Build, mentor and manage a high performing team of information risk professionals. Lead Information Risk Governance program strategic development.

  • Build and maintain a mature and robust business model for all accountable functions including methodologies, standard operating procedures, metrics, knowledge management and continuous improvement.

  • Promote MassMutual’s Information Risk Governance agenda internally and with our subsidiaries, partners and third parties through targeted outreach programs. Provide MassMutual Enterprise Information Risk Management (EIRM) teams with strategic direction regarding Information Risk Governance and industry best practices. Coordinate the delivery of EIRM management reports, briefings and other related communications related to controls conformance.

Basic Qualifications:

Five or more years' experience in :

  • Demonstrated success in building, mentoring and managing a highly effective team of information risk professionals.

  • Strong leadership qualities and business acumen able to deal with all levels of the organization

  • Sound business judgment and decision making skills

  • Able to drive and influence organizational change

  • Strong communication an interpersonal skills

  • Energetic self-starter

  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in information risk controls and GRC workflow applications.

  • Bachelor degree in information security/technology or associated discipline; Preferable Certifications: CISSP, CISA.

  • Previous experience of managing a team of 5+ information risk professionals.

  • In-depth understanding of information technology audits and governance.

  • Strong written & verbal communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced and changing environment
