MassMutual Information Security Consultant in Springfield, Massachusetts

Information Risk Consultant in the Identity and Access Management work-cell will be responsible for supporting our Identity and Access Management Platforms. Significant focus will be supporting all aspects of MassMutual’s Identity and Access platforms, with a team-first mentality that celebrates innovation, and creativity. This is an opportunity to be on a team that is changing the way information supports business decisions, by leading the team that will build and support the IT platforms responsible for end-user provisioning and de-provisioning system access for the enterprise environment, and experiencing firsthand how these technologies work side by side with MassMutual business partners to help them solve their unique problems across a variety of use cases.   • Provide operational support of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions

  • Collaborate with vendor partner on technical design and enhancement capabilities to satisfy roadmap and long-term strategy

  • Assess, prioritize, track and test defects, hotfixes, enhancements and platform upgrades

  • Challenge status quo and provide innovative solutions to align with industry standards and begin to steer us to be a leader in this space

  • Partner with IAM architects to meet client requirements for application continuous delivery, business continuity, and performance metrics

  • Ensure appropriate collection and automation of technical requirements based on critical client Identity and Access Management use cases and scenarios

  • Conduct in depth technical IAM research, assessments and performance analysis to support and design technical automated IAM strategies

  • Lead scalability and performance planning for future IAM efforts

  • Plan, verify, and integrate IAM solutions for complex client applications

  • Responsible for technical solutions provided to clients

  • Lead technical project execution to identify and close gaps between proposed and implemented designs

  • Insatiable desire to learn new IAM concepts, techniques, and implementation methods

  • Collaborate and enable the attainment of strategy objectives, including the readiness of the technical platforms to deliver on all strategic efforts.

  • Demonstrate a focus on delivery of high quality services as seen through the accuracy, currency and availability of the systems and services within the scope of responsibility

  • Stretch beyond defined boundaries to lend skill and expertise to partner with teams across the organization with a focus on continuous improvement

  • Ensures pro-active approach in research and development to ensure MassMutual stay ahead of industry trends and requirements within their PKI set-up.

  • Creates and maintains MassMutual’s Governance Security standards in association with PKI policies.

  • Designs, delivers and consults engineering MassMutual’s PKI Environment in conjunction with Organizational requirements, industry standards and Security demands.

  • Negotiates with vendors on behalf of MassMutual to enforce our PKI policies are strictly adhered to.

Basic Qualifications

  • Direct knowledge of IAM efforts that align with both Cyber Security and Operational Support models, aligning to SOC and NOC business efforts

  • Understanding of 2FA technologies such as RSA or Okta, etc.

  • Understanding of Privileged Access platforms

  • Manages projects and works within own discipline independently from a DevOps perspective through development, testing and Go-live stages.

  • Individual should have a minimum of 5 years of related experience in IT, preferably Security and essentially working on 10 of the following platforms that host the vast majority of MassMutual’s SSL Certificates:

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7 years’ experience working with IAM platforms such as Active Directory or LDAP or ISIM or ACF2 or any other comparable vendor platforms

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Strong communication skills

  • Agile mindset
