Mercy Medical Center a member of Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The Journeyperson Plumber is responsible for installing and repairing all domestic water, sanitary drains, medical gases, piped-in systems, and related equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and meeting the appropriate regulatory codes for the safe and sanitary management of the facility.

You Will Be Responsible For :
Performing installation of domestic hot and cold water, lines assuring plumbing meets all relevant regulatory codes in a timely manner.
Responsible for layout and installation of sanitary and storm drains, and standard and handicapped bathrooms following appropriate local, state and federal codes.
Installs medical gas systems assuring no cross connections and testing by a certified outside contractor.
Performing natural gas and steam piping and returns installations in accordance with local, state and federal codes in a timely and safe manner.
Responsible for making emergency calls when needed.
Performing necessary repairs and preventative maintenance on plumbing, sanitary drains, natural gas, medical gas and steam systems.
High school diploma or GED required.
Journeyperson's Plumbing license required.
Five (5) years' experience is preferred.
Master Pipe Fitters license preferred.
Requires the ability to read and understand plumbing prints related to the facility. Must be able to read, write and speak English
