Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety, is looking for a full time Patient Care Technician for the Endoscopy Suite in Springfield MA

SCHEDULE:

• 40 hours, days

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. Provides for the personal care and comfort of psychiatric patients. Provides a safe, clean environment. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities. Communicates with treatment team as appropriate about changes in patient's condition. Able to perform general duties with adequate supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS:

This position is part of a career ladder and level will be determined by the organization. Unless otherwise required by certification, licensure or registration, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the minimally required education and/or experience listed.

Level I

PCT training or CNA training preferred

CPR required-AHA BLS

Level II

At least one year of patient care experience (this experience can vary in level of long-term care, specialty, acute care, etc.

CPR required-AHA BLS

Level III

Three or more years of patient care experience (this experience can vary in level of long-term care, specialty, acute care, etc.

CPR required-AHA BLS

The base pay range shown above considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This base pay range does not include our comprehensive benefits package and any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role.
