Program Associate (Bilingual) Job Location - Springfield, MA Position Type - Full-time Salary Range - \$17.00 - \$19.75 Hourly Description Department: Rental Assistance Work Arrangement: Onsite Program Associate (Bilingual) At Way Finders, we are passionately invested in lifting up the region\'s people, places, and systems. Interested in joining our team of dedicated professionals? Way Finders is currently seeking a full-time bilingual (English/Spanish) Program Associate. The Program Associate provides administrative support that facilitates the timely and accurate completion of records, payments, assessments, file reviews, inspections, and data tracking. The candidate will work fully onsite. Responsibilities include: Ensure all required forms, notes, and documents are included in tenant records within established deadlines, providing statistical data as required; manage, organize, and update data with forethought and accuracy Provide information and respond to requests to ensure the timely and effective processing of rental assistance requests Prepare and schedule timely inspections; review inspections for completeness and accuracy of results Assist callers with information and direction, responding to general inquiries and routing calls appropriately Prepare reports, documents, and correspondence in a clear and timely manner Perform general clerical duties (copying, filing, faxing, etc.) in an efficient and accurate manner, assisting other departments as needed; ensure office machines are kept clean and in good working order, reporting issues as they arise Educate outside contacts on program regulations, guidelines, and obligations Assist as back-up for database entry; client eligibility determinations; general research; and training on guidelines, processes, and proper use of software applications and databases Requirements include: 1 year\'s experience in a general administrative or office role, or a related role; a combination of experience and a high school diploma (or equivalent) may be a substitute Bilingual (Spanish/English) written and verbal skills required Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office applications, and comfort learning new technologies Excellent customer service skills with the ability to serve diverse populations and communicate effectively and empathetically Proficient in math Solid organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, plus the ability to work independently and prioritize Wage starts between \$17.00 and \$19.75 per hour depending on equivalent qualifications.
