Program Manager - Adult Community Clinical Services

We’re searching for a Full Time, Program Manager to provide administrative leadership, supervision and direction of the team working in Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) for Persons in need of psychiatric services. The program Manager will work within the Agency’s team model, establishing open communication, support, and accountability among co-workers.

Duties Include:

  • Overall management of program/team.

  • Oversees outreach/engagement, assessment, treatment planning and ongoing service activities.

  • Conducts case reviews, Monitors Person progress and informal counseling.

  • Conducts and participates in CQI activities.

  • Develops crisis intervention plans.

  • Adheres to and ensures compliance with program policies and procedure manual.

  • Participates in on-call system to ensure staff coverage, Person coverage and resolve crisis.

  • Develops and reviews Persons’ treatment plans.

  • Interacts with Person in order to assess needs, provide information, discuss problems, and encourage growth and development.

  • Intervenes in the event of a Person crisis, suspected illegal activity, or any behavior consisting of an incident in the program to resolve the situation and insure the safety of Persons and others.

  • Insures that Persons receive maximum entitlement benefits.

  • Develops and monitors Person management systems.

  • Provides supervision to Assistant Program Manager, Licensed Clinicians and LADCs.

  • Disciplines staff as necessary; participates in hiring and discipline of Assistant Program Manage, Licensed Clinicians and other team members.

  • Participates in and helps develop program trainings.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge related to treatment of Person population.

  • Ability to motivate, direct and supervise individuals and groups.

  • Demonstrates effective leadership.

  • Ability to respond effectively to crisis.

  • Ability to structure and organize job responsibilities independently.

  • Good writing and verbal skills.

  • Valid driver’s license; reliable transportation.

  • Will be required to pass CPR and First AID and MAP certification.

  • Physical and mental demands are located at end of job description.

  • ability to conduct Person intake and assessment.

Required Experience

What you need:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with psychiatric population.

  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.

  • Master’s degree in a mental health field from an accredited educational institution required.

  • Must be a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA), including LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LADC1, Licensed Rehab Counselor, Physicians, Registered Nurse, Registered Occupational Therapist, and Psychologist.

  • Bilingual (English & Spanish), bi-cultural, encouraged to apply.
