Representative Payee Coordinator Description The Representative Payee Coordinator will perform a variety of time sensitive accounting and clerical duties to maintain and update organization accounting records. Duties include maintaining client records to comply with Social Security regulations, online bill payment, budget monitoring and providing customer service both in person and on the telephone with all levels of job titles. Essential Position Functions Setup and accurately maintain client personal checking accounts, including budgeting, preparing checks, entering recurring payments into the computer banking system, and recording transactions. Respond professionally and accurately to inquiries from employees and outside agencies regarding client matters. Perform various other clerical duties as needed. Perform other similar duties as assigned by supervisor. Requirements Job Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Excellent computer skills required, including required experience with Excel and Outlook. Direct work experience is strongly preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills, which include the ability to effectively convey information to others. Ability to identify errors and solve problems. Ability to manage time and meet deadlines. Duties require good customer service skills, visual acuity to written and computer screen data, attention to detail and manual coordination and dexterity in the operation of office equipment.
