PRIMARY PURPOSE:
As a Fountain Worker II, you will be responsible for setting the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Knowledgeable of selling techniques and service delivery for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and items on the menu
Take and place order, serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable
Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house area, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests
Pack and complete order as per guests’ preference with necessary condiments
Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment
Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders in designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish supplies and machines as needed
Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
Perform other job-related duties as requested
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of menu items, including mixing and serving beverages, standard beverage recipes, preparation methods, glassware, garnishes, products, menu items, supplies and equipment
Knowledge of standard kitchen equipment, including, but not limited to toasters, refrigerators, and coolers, slicers and beverage machines
Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations
Basic computer skills and experience with varied Point of Sale (POS) systems
Excellent customer service skills as well as interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
PREFERRED:
High school diploma or equivalent
Formal education with a degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
Two (2) years of experience as a food handler in a similar environment
Five (5) years of experience in a high-volume food and beverage environment
Experience working in a similar resort setting
