Supervisor, Transaction Processing

About the Role:

Conduent is actively seeking an experienced Supervisor, Transaction Processing to oversee a dedicated team and processes. This critical role involves ensuring the timely completion of tasks, including imaging, processing, and data entry, while ensuring team members fulfill their roles as per the service level agreement.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the daily workflow of MM Insurance workgroups and/or segments of the workflow process.

  • Managing a team of full and part-time frontline employees.

  • Providing client management visibility and accountability for workflow processing.

  • Taking "direct ownership" of transaction processing performance, including allocating work in process to maximize productivity and quality.

  • Handling shift operations, informing the shift manager of process delays, breakdowns, and resolving problems or obstacles to production and/or quality.

  • Reporting directly to the Service Delivery Manager.

  • Providing guidance and development to Team Leaders and Operations team members.

  • Effectively utilizing teamwork and leadership behaviors to create a highly engaged environment.

  • Ensuring adherence to all customer and Conduent guidelines, policies, and procedures related to operations, internal audit and security, and general management practices.

  • Scheduling feedback and counseling with associates to ensure optimal performance.

  • Adapting and handling change effectively.

  • Conducting other job responsibilities per management direction.


  • High school diploma/GED is required. A Bachelor's degree in a business discipline or relevant work experience is desired.

  • Minimum two (2) years of supervisory/leadership experience, preferably in a large Transaction Processing or Mailroom environment.

  • Ability to lead, direct, and be visible to staff and direct reports.

  • Coordination and organization skills to handle multiple deadline-driven processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and balance numerous activities simultaneously.

  • Functional experience with MS Office, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

  • Good decision-making skills.

  • Strong communication skills (i.e., interpersonal, verbal, and written).

  • Display core leadership abilities: strong planning/organization, motivation, problem-solving/conflict resolution, analytical, team building, and interpersonal skills are essential.

Physical Requirements:

  • Walking, sitting upright, standing up, lifting up to 50 pounds.

  • Must consent to and successfully clear all required pre-employment screenings.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $50-52K
