Telecommunications Technician Job Description

As a Telecommunications Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and improving communication systems within an organization. Your responsibilities will include:

• Installation and Configuration : You’ll install, operate, and maintain voice and data telecommunications equipment.

• Network Planning and Documentation : You’ll plan network installations by studying customer orders, technical specifications, and installation sites.

• Troubleshooting and Repairs : When issues arise, you’ll troubleshoot and repair outages promptly.

• Customer Support : You’ll maintain customer rapport by addressing concerns, answering questions, and providing technical assistance.
