Airborn, Inc. Intern Manufacturing Engineer in Taunton, Massachusetts
The Intern Manufacturing Engineer assists with the planning, developing, evaluating and coordinating activities for the organization under the direction of a manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: - Support internal reporting and data collection - Leverage various tools and technology to analyze data and identify trends - Perform root cause analysis and propose recommendations - Ability to work with cross functional teams consisting of several different internal & external departments. - Assist with mailings, print production, and data entry - Other misc. administrative and operational functions KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Requires knowledge typically acquired through: - One to two years related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. - Ability to write articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format and effectively present information to top management. - Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. - Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. QUALIFICATIONS: - We seek candidates who have excellent analytical skills, a focus on results, the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas, and creative problem solving abilities. - Qualified candidates must also demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, effective teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly assess problems and find workable solutions. - Engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial, etc. (Will change depending on Major) - Have the ability to work 40 hours per week from May 20 - August 9th, 2024 - Current enrollment in a four year Bachelor?s degree or equivalent and have at least a junior status - Minimum 3.0 GPA (Official Transcript May be Requested) - U.S. Person or someone that can comply with ITAR Compliance.
