Job Description: Responsible for PWB & Circuit Card Assembly designs from conception to manufacturing including: library part creation, schematic capture, component placement, routing, checking, Gerber/ODB++ file outputs, and all documentation using Mentor Graphics and Blueprint. Software includes: Mentor Xpedition, Mentor Board Station, CES, DxDesigner, Blueprint, Valor, etc. Designs include various printed wiring board technologies as well as flex & rigid-flex assemblies. Responsible for interfacing with electrical, mechanical, and producibility engineering disciplines to ensure that the overall design requirements are captured and realized U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Required Skills: Must have knowledge of circuit card assembly (CCA) design layout and documentation. 10+ years of experience in CCA layout designing and documentation. Experience with Mentor Xpedition VX, Board Station, CES, DxDesigner, Blueprint, and Valor. Desired Skills: Ability to multi task and work with diverse cross functional teams in a fast paced design/manufacturing environment. Required Education (including Major): Associates degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Applied Physics, equivalent discipline (STEM), or equivalent technical training and work experience.
