Sr. Engineering Manager – Electrical (Topsfield, MA)
Our client in the Power Electronics is currently hiring an experienced Senior RF/Micro Electrical Engineering Manager to lead and drive the development of important new technology programs for Topsfield site. This role is a newly created role due to growth and is a Direct Hire.
We are looking for a motivated and responsible team player with strong leadership and excellent interpersonal skills as well as the ability to drive new concepts and techniques for improving producibility, solving problems, and reaching the next level.
This exciting role offers an opportunity to work with and learn from some of the top industry leading professionals. He or she will serve as liaison between the creative RF/Micro electrical engineering professionals and the functional manufacturing organizations.
The candidate we are looking for will oversee complex assignments involving the analysis, research, design, development, fabrication and testing of RF/Micro devices and systems. We need someone who enjoys working in an innovative, forward-thinking environment!
Directs the establishment and administration of RF/Microwave design and RF/Microwave development programs as they relate to Company business to insure competitive leadership in fields of activity.
Teaming with others in meaningful cost studies, equipment recommendations and make/buy decisions.
Supplies technical assistance and coordination to RF/Micro Electrical Engineering staff assigned to the project.
Maintains a positive work environment by professional and courteous conduct and communications with others, including supervisors, co-workers, clients, and vendors.
Plans and performs analytical RF/Microwave electrical engineering work directed towards improving product performance or the development of new RF/Microwave products or design techniques.
EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Knowledge of Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) programs preferred.
5-10 years’ experience in a related position required.
Knowledge and proficiency in RF and Microwave Electronics; RF, Electrical, Power Technologies, or similar industry background preferred (RF & microwave frequency products, subassemblies, modules, semiconductors, High Power RF Amplifiers, microelectronics, components and assemblies for wireless, etc.).
