In this role, you have the opportunity to
Transform Regulatory Affairs by leading Change Management deliverables, which will help improve the lives of millions of people while advancing Philips transformation as a global leader in Health Technology.
You are responsible for:
Working with Regulatory Leadership team members on defining strategy, metrics, targets as well as execution of key initiatives within Regulatory Affairs and the International Markets
Preparing, running and following through on the strategic and operational team management rhythm/meetings and actions
Design, develop and implement the lean improvement roadmap and strategies within function and across markets according to strategic priorities and that have the biggest overall impact on business & markets results and customers.
Responsible for ensuring transformation/continuous improvement projects are delivered on time/budget and with the agreed-upon scope. You will work closely with process owners, functions, markets and initiative owners to deliver tools and standardized processes.
Develop and guide the overall governance & program management structure for initiatives/transformation/continuous improvement projects including operating plans and way of working using key project management tools (Risk Management Plan, Program/Project Plan, Schedule, Resource Plan, Daily Management, RACIs, etc.) to mitigate risks, provide clear direction and ensure execution
Handle lessons learned, incorporates continuous improvement, facilitates harmonization across regulatory function and within International Markets
Execute & support utilization of Continuous Improvement methodology and tools (Hoshin, 6S, Kaizen, value stream maps, etc) across the function and markets
Responsible for being a proactive team member, including recruiting, developing and mentoring of talent. Typically influences work of cross-functional or extended teams
Accountable for meeting compliance requirements of external governing authorities, internal Quality Management Systems and Philips business process methodologies

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Master’s degree plus a minimum of 10 years of related experience in innovation, strategy, operations, business or markets environment
Excellent process improvement/lean experience, managing large, multi-site project/programs within complex cross-functional organizations and/or environment with several disciplines
Strong industry standard Project Management knowledge and application or tools and techniques (MS Project, PMBOK) and ability to execute continuous improvement methodologies, tools and problem solving techniques
Demonstrated change management, communication interpersonal skills, including verbal and content at multiple levels within organization
Ability to drive decision-making while concisely communicating detailed information and strategic decisions to project partners of all levels
Experienced in leading and influencing teams in a virtual, global/multi- cultural, cross functional and multi-location matrixed organization
Proactive and able to act on own initiative
