Intake Clinician/ Fee for Service Clinician

As the Master's Level Intake Clinician, you will:

  • conduct diagnostic evaluations, including developing treatment plan and goals in collaboration with the consumer

  • collaborate with treatment team and other providers to establish treatment plan and disposition

  • provide direct therapeutic intervention

  • maintain regular communication with treatment team and collateral providers/case managers as necessary. This may include attending planning or case management meetings regarding consumers

  • involve families in evaluation, treatment planning and on-going treatment to the degree agreed upon with consumer

  • provide crisis management for clients on caseload and other outpatient center clients as necessary

  • provide consultation and education to families

  • Carry small ongoing caseload of outpatient clients

Schedule: 20 hours per week as intake coordinator and up to 20 additional Fee for Service hours optional

Required Skills

  • Must be able to work as a member of a team and to function independently

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required

  • Basic computer fluency, including Microsoft Office, required

  • Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle required

Required Experience

  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling required

  • Independent licensure in social work, psychology, or counseling strongly preferred

  • Must meet all requirements leading to an active professional license in the individual’s professional discipline, including, but not limited to, continuing education, ethical requirements, etc.
