responsibilities:

.This is a highly visible role working closely with senior management providing valuable insights influencing and supporting decision-makers. Your expertise in cost accounting and manufacturing operations will be instrumental in optimizing the companies cost efficiency and profitability.

• Maintain standard costs

• Work cross functionally to ensure accurate and up-to-date BoM's

• Prepare month-end reports, journal entries, and reconciliations.

• Research and analyze manufacturing costs and variances

• Improve processes to maximize efficiencies

• Develop variance reports; research and explain differences in production costs

• Responsible for cost and margin analysis as well as product line reporting and analysis.

• Maintain adequate inventory levels

• Manage cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory balances.

• Assist auditors as needed

qualifications:

Ideal candidate profile:

• BS in Accounting

• 5+ years of relevant cost accounting experience

• Experience in publicly traded company is desired

• Manufacturing industry experience required

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Analytical mindset
