In this role, you have the opportunity to
Provide sales support to new and existing customers within the territory.
You are responsible for
Develop, coordinate and implement a sales plan for the assigned territory.
Achieve specific performance goals regarding sales calls, sales forecast and territory growth at mutually agreed upon.
Complete intensive training program to become more technically proficient in all aspects of the RespirTech product line with in a pre-determined length of time. The purpose is to provide customers with more technical information and practical application guidelines for using RespirTech products.
Perform product demonstrations and in-services to physicians and other clinical personnel in individual, small and large groups.
Plan, coordinate and participate in local and regional meetings and trade shows.
Identify areas of strengths and weaknesses in the company and competitor’s product lines and provide input to appropriate internal departments to take advantage of available opportunities. This is intended to assist product design and development, manufacturing and distribution.
Provide product development, sales/pricing and availability information to appropriate internal departments regarding competitor offerings as it is made available or received.
Help plan, coordinate and implement special projects as identified in the future.
Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
Works with inside Customer Care Team to keep account and patient activities up to date.
Support customer training.
Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
Attend HIPAA training and other training sessions as they arise.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or 2+ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Sales experience within the Medical Device/Healthcare Industry required
Sales experience within the DME/respiratory space strongly preferred
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Knowledge of Contact Management systems; Database software; Internet software; Inventory software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, or talks with customers and to work with other representatives in other territories as necessary. Must also be willing to travel as necessary on behalf of the company on official company business and to various local territories, regional and national meetings.
