Our team in Wakefield, MA is looking for a new Customs Brokerage Entry Writer
The Customs Brokerage Entry Writer will analyze documents and accurately key in information to process entries with US Customs and Border Protection.
• Locate necessary documents, then analyze, look up classification, and accurately transmit Customs entries.
• Communicate daily with other KN team members.
• Occasionally may need to open new file then complete its billing.
• Adhere to all US Customs Regulations and other regulatory agencies
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Skills and Experiences
•Previous Customer Service experience preferred.
•Detail Oriented and organized.
•Analytical and math skills
•Good communication skills.
•Basic knowledge of Incoterms strongly preferred
•Computer Savvy: ability to use internal and external systems, along with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (intermediate level or higher).
•Ability to use office equipment such as printers, scanners, telephone, etc.
•Ability to sit for extended period of time.
•Ability to work both, independently and in a team environment
•Able to work overtime when needed
