The Laboratory Technician position in Standards Manufacturing formulates, and tests all Control System materials for Centaur and Atellica assays produced in Walpole Manufacturing Facility.

This position includes the handling of all types of materials, including hazardous and DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) controlled materials.

This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, lookingfor the next step in their career. As a Laboratory Technician, youwill be responsible for :

  • Performanceof QC testing protocols (Instrument proficiency, MFG and QC protocols)

  • DataReview, batch record review

  • Knowledgeof Microsoft Office

  • FosterTeam Environment

  • Calibrationand Maintenance of Lab Equipment

  • LabDuties as required

  • BasicUnderstanding of SAP

  • Knowledgeof and compliance with ISO, GMP, QSR

  • Contactsare primarily with immediate manager and others in the group.

  • Performanceof MFG formulation protocols.

Required Education, Skills & Experience:

  • BS/BAin related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalentcombination of education and experience.

  • Effectivelyuses fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area ofspecialization.

  • Excellentorganization and time management skills

  • Excellent laboratory technique.

  • Ability to work individually and in a team setting.

  • Mustpass a Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) background check.
